Megan's Halloween Costume
Here is Megan doing a dress rehearsal of her Halloween costume - George Bush in a private school girl's uniform. She's got the blond wig on and she's just missing the Bush mask. Right now she just looks like a blond Dorothy of the Wizard of Oz.

2-Month Anniversary Dinner
For our 2-month anniversary we went to eat at the Crab House at Pier 39 in San Francisco. We were stoked to eat 3 pounds of crab! Yum! And the Apple Martini! Damn, I was hummin'! The best ever. I would've taken 2 more if wasn't TEN FREAKING DOLLARS EACH. But oh well...I made that sucker last...

Megan's Tribute
Today is my 2 month wedding anniversary.
And to me, it's quite special though I know for some, they don't keep track of such trivialities anymore. But it's all new to me and cute and I'm silly and happy to be married so I'll just be, since I can't help it.
I haven't even been able to blog about my wedding at all, especially about ALL the circumstances that led up to it. Just haven't had the time and the right quiet state of mind to write everything perfectly, because "perfect" is what happened.
But here's something my 12-year old daughter, Megan, wrote on the day of our wedding. I think the whole plan was for her to read it some time during the ceremony, but with all the last minute chaos and winging it (and it was ALL last minute, lemme tell ya...), she didn't get a chance to.
So here it is...
"Marriage is a joining of two people that cherish each other with all of their hearts. Being united as one, when you find that special someone, you have this indescribable feeling. It’s like I finally found someone to be there all the time for me and to share all of my thoughts and feelings without hesitation or unsureness between us. When you find that person, you feel like you can trust them with anything, you won’t have to hold back because that person will love you for who you are. And so when you do find someone, hold on to them forever because when you’re with that person, you become complete and loved and cared for so much you won’t even try to think of that feeling leaving your heart. So I wish your marriage to be filled with much happiness and love.
PS: Mama and Gary, you guys are so perfect for each other. If you guys didn’t get married now you guys would have missed all these great memories. I love you both. Congratulations!"
Gary and I read this together the next day and all we could say was "WOW". Neither of us could've said it better...What a doll!
